April Liang’s passion for music started at the age of five. She always found herself singing and later went on to take private voice lessons. At the age of nine, she began playing the guitar and soon picked up the bass. April spent her high school years singing in choirs, playing in ensembles, as well as writing and producing original music. April currently attends UBC and is striving for a career in the music industry.

April Liang is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Vancouver, BC. She began voice lessons when she was five years old, guitar lessons at the age of nine, and by the time she was fourteen, April was able to play both the electric bass and the double bass. April spent the entirety of her high school years writing and producing original music, singing in choirs, as well as playing in concert bands and jazz combos. April received the award for best-improvised solo at the West Coast Jazz Festival in 2019. She also participated in the British Columbia Music Educator Association Provincial Choir during that same year. In March of 2021, she released her debut single ‘Miles’, a dance-pop song on all streaming platforms. Since then, April has been playing live shows and collaborating with other talented upcoming artists all over the country to expand her discography with versatile songs.

April Liang is a 20-year-old emerging multifaceted artist from Vancouver, BC. She began her music career with guitar lessons at the age of nine and soon afterward learned how to play a variety of other string instruments such as the electric/double bass, and ukulele. April spent the entirety of her high school years playing in multiple ensembles that include concert bands, jazz combos, and singing in choirs. At the age of fourteen, April travelled to LA, Orlando, & Florida to showcase her talents of acting, dancing, modelling, and singing at events like iPop & Premiere where she was able to work with artists such as Debby Ryan. April also spent her leisure time giving live performances of covers & original songs at local senior centres and children's hospitals when she was fifteen years old. In March of 2021, she released her debut single ‘Miles’, a dance-pop song on all streaming platforms. Since then, April has been collaborating with other talented upcoming artists all over the country and expanding her discography with versatile songs. April intends to write catchy tunes that will connect with her listeners all while being able to express her feelings. Music is her creative outlet and the only way she tells anyone anything; therefore, listening to her songs is almost like an insight into her personal life. Aside from songwriting, learning how to produce music, and all things in the musical realm, she loves to draw, read poetry, skateboard, shop, write, work out, and spend time with loved ones.
